I had a porcelain kettle that I put on our woodstove and kept filled with water, and sometimes put a drop or two of eucalpytus oil in it. I didn't buy anything special just used something I had! The house was never 'dry' inside over the winter when the fire was burning!

My mom still uses a woodburning cast iron stove
She has always just used anything metal to put water in on top of the stove to add humidity to the air. You dont have to use cast iron......just something metal. : ) ginny |
