Duvet Covers
Hello all :)
Can I stuff a down comforter that's 90x98 into a duvet that's 90x90? Thank you! |
Try it and see if it works ok. I would guess that extra stuffing is going to be bunched up in the duvet. You can use just the duvet on the bed. I never stuff them and just use them flat.

Do you mean you want to stuff the comforter into a duvet cover, or in a duvet? (The duvet is the bag filled with feathers or whatever, and it's usually protected with a duvet cover.)
If you mean the cover, I think it would depend on how thick the comforter is and how easily it compresses. |

My opinion is the comforter is too large.

One, I would not take Mavis's advice, unless you want feathers and down everywhere.
It will not hurt a duvet to be in a cover that is too small. It will be a bit lumpy at the bottom. But if it were me, I would make the cover longer to accommodate the duvet. Just add a band of fabric to the top. Far earlier than adding to the bottom, although you could put a band of colour anywhere on the duvet. |
