Bad earthquake, 5.7, we had damage, this one was a bit scary.

Fabriholic 07-07-2010 04:03 PM

When did this happen? Haven't seen it on the news. Hope no one was hurt. Are you okay?

I felt it too, down in San Diego. Do you know where the epicenter was. Did your home suffer damage...I sure hope not. Are you getting as freaked out as me as to how often these things are happening?

Minor damage, it wouldn't stop. This one scared me. I generally shrug them off, but this one just kept rumbling!

We had pictures fall off a shelf here in La Quinta. We knew it was bigger than usual so we headed outside, the dogs too. No real damage, just enough to let us know the BIG ONE is on it's way.

Hubby and I felt it too. We were on the road coming back from Chino Hills. We stopped at a stop light, and the car actually swayed back and forth. No damage at home. EQ has been downgraded to a 5.4 - epicenter near Borrego Springs.

We felt it here in Castaic too. It rolled for a few seconds.

Fabriholic 07-07-2010 09:04 PM

I've never experienced one. Hope only damage is minor. I think I'd be too scared to live there.
