I wonder where I can find a bunny that is about 12-15 inches long that I can trace and turn it into Chenille. I have been asked to make a baby quilt again.Something like the Lil Lucky Ducky one I made.

try one of the dollar stores or the like....you can get a "cheap" vinyl placemat and trace around that...

You can make your own also. I used to make a bunny cake for Easter every year, you could use the same plans for your design.

1. You take two 8-9 inch pans and trace around them to form two large circles.

2. With the first circle you cut out a smaller circle in the middle (which is the head). This leaves with what looks
like a donut. You take those cut the donut into 4's then cut again leaving a total of 8 pieces. Use these for the feet of the bunny. In your case, 4 would be all you need as it will be an applique I assume.

3. Take the second pan a cut a square in the center. This leaves 4 Oblong pieces, which you place to together for the ears, and the square for the body.

4. Decorate as needed, eyes, nose, pink in ears, whiskers, toenails, bowtie, etc.

I hope you understand the directions, if you have any problems, just PM me and I will give you my phone number to explain better.

How did you attach the chenille? I just looked at the duckie pattern.

I went to Bing and typed in "line drawing of Easter Bunny". Lots of images come up. Or a cheap childs' coloring book?

I made 4 layers, sewed lines 1/2 inch apart , then clipped between the lines then sewed it to the center panel of the quilt

That sounds like a pretty good idea,, I will concentrate tomorrow and see how good I can do that !!! Thanks
