Easy Way To Make Hanging Dish Towels
I love hanging dish towels in my kitchen but I hate making them because the pattern I had was kind of complicated, cutting binding on the bias and cutting a pattern for the top. I knew there had to be an easier way and I found one. The link is below.

I like that. I'm always looking for easier ways to make hanging towels. Here's another option I've found:

I went to the first link and put "towel" in the search box and found the tutorial. It's a good one!
|
The first link worked fine for me and I really like that method - fast and easy! Thanks.
|
The first one worked for me to . Thank You, it looks like a good idea for Christmas
|
Worked for me on both pages. Thanks - I will put it in my favorites.

Both seem like too much work for towels that really get used in my kitchen.....along with the whole one I have nearest the sink draped over a ceramic duck head...made by me in a past hobby life, I have two of those half towels strategically placed attached to cabinet handles...one near stove, other under working counter, but I have crocheted across cut edge, worked up a double crochet, folded over handle and attached button......much faster for me that those shown.....

If the 1st link gives you a blank page (like it did me), try "refreshing" or "reloading" the page. It worked for me.

I use a (bought) hot pad and t-towel. Fold your hot pad with the hanging loop at the top, and mark the fold line. Take the t-towel and fold in sides to fit the fold line on the hot pad. Find the center of the t-towel and lay the center marked line on the hot pad on the center of the t-towel, and sew. On the opposite side of the hot pad, sew a button. To hang, put hot pad on oven handle and button it on!
This is real easy and I make a lot for the church bazaar. |
Thanks for the links. I got the second one right away, the first one I got a blank page but I highlighted the URL and hit enter and then it came up.

Worked fine for me, great idea thanks :)

I like this idea!

Thank you both ladies for the ideas. Will make great Christmas gifts and ideas for Church fund raisers.

I love hanging towels and in the past made TONS of them for
my family members. Personally for my own kitchen I DON'T use them because I change my kitchen towels sometimes up to 3-4 (maybe more) times a day if I am in there cooking, for me it is a matter of I hate the thought of cross contamination of the food I am preparing/cooking. I have no idea where this "issue" started for me, but any towel or dishcloth gets tossed to the laundry rather quickly (depending on what I am doing). |
Loaded fine for me on both links ! Thanks !!

I think I might try it with one row of bias tape, ribbon or fabric strip, with ribbon ran through it at one end. Then all I have to do is flip it over the oven door and gather it a little then tie in a bow.

Check your computer...you may have blockers in place... both of these sites worked for me... to watch... to read... to copy...
