Just an FYI - I had an email supposedly from Pay Pal today saying there was a lot of activity on the credit card I use for them. It's a separate card I use for nothing else and I'm going to call and be sure, but I haven't used it in months. I didn't go any further on the email, but imagine they wanted the card number to verify it.

forward the e-mail to: [email protected]

They will let you know if it was from them or not.

I fell for one of those phishing e-mails - it sure looked genuine!

It was a scam....I have received one. Paypal warns that they would never send an email to you like that. Paypal does suggest you open a new window (not from email) and check your account.

Pay pal would never send you an email like that.

report it to paypal immediately and do not reply to that email
