Eleanor Burns
 

Eleanor Burns did have heart surgery on September 14. You can view an interview with her through the Quilt Show free.

As much as Eleanor has contributed to the quilt world, I think we should all send a card to her. She contributed so much!

Mine in mail today too!

Oh thank you for the info. I sent her a card today. She has truly been the biggest inspiration in my quilting. I could go on & on about her but all of you know what I mean if you know her. (Every quilter knows her) lol She is the best.

I'm in...card is in the mail box.

Mine is ready to mail tomorrow. A couple of years ago after "Road to California" I found myself sitting next to her in the airport. I know she was exhausted and didn't want to chat with "fans" but you would never have known it. She couldn't have been nicer to me and my friends. What a nice lady. Wishing her a speedy recovery!

So thankful to have come across this. I've met Eleanor a few times at Quilt Market what a warm and genuine Lady. Card will be in the mail this week.

Today, Friday 9-18-15, I get Quilt-In-A-Day daily ad in my email and today, at the top of the email/ad - it says:

Eleanor is out of ICU

so good news for sure.

Update - there was a picture of Eleanor sitting and reading a book to two little grandchildren and said that she was out of the hospital.
