email-alert?
Has anyone else got an email from Gloria Mackenzie? The lady in FL that won the big powerball. She wants to share her winnings with a bunch of people.
I haven't gotten one from her but a lady in France wants to send me her money before she dies.
Jan , I got a few like that too. They want to send it to people that help Charities. It is so tempting , I could really use the money to help out my kids. But I wish they would offer to hand deliver the cash instead of dealing through the banks. What to do , what to do??
Love these scam emails. What is amazing is people will actually believe them.
I sincerely doubt that the winner would be contacting people personally. Would probably be thru an attorney or a foundation.
Oh I love people wanting to share. send her my way!!! or maybe not!
Just someone saying the Powerball Lady wants to share. If it was on the up and up she could always find institutions that could use the money. She may not know this is going around.
Scam, scam, scam. Don't fall for it. |
Scam.....please stay away from it. If she wanted to share she would find a worthy cause or causes. Please don't get fooled.
purple, you do realize that this is a scam, no one is giving you the money, they want your acct number to clean out your acct.
OOohhh I am so jealous, why doesn't she write to me? lol.

Another old saying comes to mind here. If it sounds too good to be true ,it probably isnt. Sounds like a scam to me.
Beware, because once they get your bank info. you have been had. If it sounds too good to be true, then it isn't.
This is a scam! Anyone who asks for your banking information or money out front run like the dickins!
Right on Lynnie!! (Now is my age showing???)
It is a scam, like she doesn't have people crawling out of the woodwork asking HER for money. Unfortunately someone is bound to fall for it, that why there are so many scams out there. sad.
Be careful when something seems to good to be true it usually is. This is probably a scam.
Just another scam....Beware.....
Someone pretending to be from Publishers Clearing House sent an e-mail stating I was a big winner. Sure! Wrote to PCH to inform them of the scam, they sent a nice e-mail telling me the procedures of notifying winners and where I could also report this to some other big brother that watches over us site.
how did they get your email? powers of the internet age . cell phones etc. can hack anyone. scary to think in the future. sit in front of your computer and the hackers can see you typing.but you cant see them watching you.
I never open emails from ppl I don't know, it is the best way in the world to get spam or a virus... Just not worth it. If it truely was the lady that won the lottery wouldn't you wonder how she got your email?
