Watching the deer outside my sewing room window.

I wonder if it is the quilt police.

miss_ticky2 03-09-2013 11:25 AM

How lovely :)

What a lovely view! Thanks for sharing.

Not sure if the deer are the quilt police. They may be looking for a quilt of their own for the cold nights in winter! You have a lovely view from your sewing machine!

dunster 03-09-2013 03:24 PM

I am so envious of your beautiful view. I would spend far more time in my quilting room if I could look outside and see such a peaceful scene.

Jingle 03-09-2013 04:24 PM

Beautiful view, my new sewing has a great window but sitting at my machine I can only see the treetops. Backyard that I face is a downhill yard. If I stand I can see all over.

skowron5 03-09-2013 08:27 PM

It is in the Upper Peninsula. It is 15 miles north of Menominee if you know where that is. Near the Wisconsin border.

If its the quilt police, it is a really clever disguise. Beautiful view.

nygal 03-10-2013 08:12 AM

Oh lucky you!! We use to have moose in our back and front yard when we lived in Anchorage, Alaska. I miss them still!!

IBQUILTIN 03-10-2013 09:31 AM

Beautiful view, I sometimes don't get much sewing done while watching the wonderf antics of some of our deer and other animals around here. You would not believe what I just did!!!! I dropped the mouse to this computer and it went directly into a full cup of coffee. What are the odds. Hope I can dry it out and still use it. I took it apart and am trying to dry it now with the hair dryer. lol. Nobody else could be such a dork

Roberta 03-10-2013 11:33 AM

I love it but I, myself spend as much time daydreaming at the scenery. A friend suggested I move my table facing a wall, no fun at all.

cr12cats 03-10-2013 11:58 AM

what a wonderful view to sew by.

bibi 03-10-2013 12:41 PM

So cool enjoy, and just like the deer dream of spring.

Love your view with all those windows and the added attraction of the wildlife.

I have to show you what was outside my window yesterday.

Thanks for sharing.

God's an awesome creator! He blessed us with a lot of beauty if we just open our eyes & look around. You have a great vantage point to enjoy your little piece of it. Love to watch the animals play.

Naturalmama 03-10-2013 07:45 PM

What a perfect work spot! I probably wouldn't get much done 'cause I'd have to be looking all the time!

stitchinwitch 03-11-2013 03:35 AM

very very nice - your sewing area is perfect - ....I envy you!

skowron5 03-11-2013 05:27 AM

That is beautiful. I don't know why our turkeys moved on. The best part is you don't have all the snow. We got 3 more inches last night. Better than the 8 they said we were going to get.

I once dropped my cell phone into cake batter. It had terrible reception afterwards. :D I took it back to Sprint twice to "fix" the problem and they wound up giving me a new phone. Apparently, cake batter does not cause water damage but if it had I'd have been out the cost of a new phone. I tell you this both for the laughs and to let you know you are not alone.

mary123 03-11-2013 09:02 AM

What a view!

BrendaY 03-11-2013 11:27 AM

Love seeing your deep snow and the animals.. I live in Oregon and we do have the deer and turkey, but it would be great to get some really deep snow...

mighty 03-12-2013 05:56 AM
