Enlarging type on computer screen

Some time back someone posted how to enlarge the type on your computer screen. I saved it as a "favorite" rather than bookmarking it here and have since had to replace my computer. Lost it and now need the information. TYIA

Try holding CTRL and hitting the + key until type is as large as you want. CTRL and - makes it go back down.

What operating system do you have? If it's windows 7, go to your start menu, select control panel, and then Ease of Access Center. There will be a screen magnifier, or click "Make the computer easier to see" to see different options. I'm not sure what it is in other versions of windows, but look for things like Accessibility or display options in the control panel.

also on my computer screen, near the lower right hand corner is a percentage that you can change. mine is set at 150% for my hubby and i like it that way too.

Another way if you have a mouse with a scroll wheel -- hold the CTRL key and you can use the scroll wheel to make the type size larger or smaller.

These is so much about computers that we just do not know. Thanks for any tips like these!

Here's another one: if you use the Google tool bar, there is an option for "spell check" that you can add.
