This is the second year of my involvement with a wonderful program called Epals. I'm an avid reader and encourage those in my life to read for pleasure as I do. Epals is a mentoring program where you are assigned a student to share the reading experience with. Emails are exchanged after you and your student read the same book at the same time. You not only communicate with the student, but also his/her teacher. So far this school year, my student (a 3rd grade girl) and I have read and discussed a fiction book and a Social Studies book. This coming week, we will be our biography assignment. I find this program so rewarding and worthwhile! To offer of yourself, go to in2books.com/epals.

What a wonderful program!
Thank you for participating in this child's life in such a positive way.

I'm going to think about this. I love reading & like to support programs that encourage it (especially in this digital age).

Thank you for passing it along.
