Even the worst cook can become a top chef.....
with this set of cookware. So maybe we can assume those who burn water can be the next Iron Chef by using these pots and pans. :)

Surely that has one too many zeros. That's unbelieveable
|
I am pretty sure that has too many zeros - for that price it had better do the housework, yardwork, bring in a paycheck, etc. All that and make me a top chef
|
It looks like the cookware they sell at the fair - a "waterless" cookware. I was already set to buy some until I heard the price and thought, "You have to be kidding!" For that amount they should be serving drinks, because I would have to be drunk in order to pay that much. But they must make money because they are there every year.

First of all, let me say that I love my SaladMaster cookware. Secondly, let me say that if I had to pay that much for it, it would never be in my house. I have most of what they have there, when you go to a party you are offered so much free stuff at different levels. I paid probably a little less than 3000 and it has a life time warranty. Now, I cook alot, well I used to when all of my family were home and I had a husband. Now that it's just me and a son and his girl who are never home I only cook a few times a week. If I were the worst cook in America, I would not buy this because, what would be the use. I'm not stupid enough to think the right pots and pans, especially at that price would change that. I could go to culinary school for that kind of money. I know its been a few yrs since I got mine but I seriously don't think the fact that inflation has risen and Oregon is on the opposite would affect the price tag today to the tune of 20,000.

Back in the day mu MIL had a set. I bet it was at least $500.00. I still have the shredder thing.

I have a set of Tramontina Stainless Steel Cookware (18/10 stainless steel). And I have two other saute pans made by All-clad (I love these pans). And I use Rachel Ray's bake ware it is non stick and wonderful.
I don't think I would barter for this set. I just paid off my truck and I can't drive around in a fry pan.........LOL |
I use my Grandma's 50 year old Wagner Ware. Best pots ever. Much better price, too.

I have the westbend waterless cookware and love it.
