Fabric makes great packing material!

Can I just say this? In case it's not obvious? I just moved, and used my stash fabric to wrap the dishes, knick-knacks, etc. Our temple just remodeled so they gave me a bunch of curtain fabric, basically panels about 60" wide x about 8 feet, and they wrapped the headboard/footboard of the bed, some glass shelves, all kinds of stuff. I don't recommend fabric for cushioning large pieces so much, but it covers great, and the price was certainly right!

AND using fabric is VERY GREEN! Or red, pink, blue, purple, or whatever color you use, LOL. I passed the moving boxes on to someone else who was moving, and put my stash back into my much smaller :( closet. Not too much smaller, but not all the shelves will fit, so I need to figure out another way to store the stash. Please let that be the biggest problem I face in this life (too late).

I would also have used the cutains to pack stuff. I would not use my fabrics, to fold again would just increase the work load. Maybe folding your stash a different way would make it fit. If not I hope you can come up with something.
