Fabric Shops

Friends ---- any suggestions for fabric shops to visit between Dayton, OH and Bradenton, FL. Not necessarily quilt shops but some with all types of fabrics. I especially like "bargain bin" type places.

Cotton Patch Quilt Shop in Sarasota, I believe, is a very nice shop. You could google it.

Go to QuiltingHub.com and map your path, it will lay out a corridor of quilt shops. It's great to combine a gas stop with a quilt shop. As long as you make it quick, others don't seem to mind.

Whittles near bowling green, Kentucky. Not to far off the express way.

Forgot about Hancock's of Paducha when coming through Paducha, Ky. It is very close to the freeway. Quilt in a Day also has a shop there but it is a little farther away from the highway and is sometimes closed.

I shop at Sew A Lot in Centerville, OH; Little Shop of Stitches in Miamisburg - both accessible but a few miles off of I-675 or I-75 southbound. Fabric Shack in Waynesville, OH is a great place, too, with a wonderful remnant cart. Joann's is in both Fairborn and Centerville.
