thanks for the heads up. I guess I am spoiled living to long in southern ca, cause no I am not looking forward to winter. I don't like these midwest winters at all. I can't walk well so I am pretty much house bound those months cause I am scared to death of the ice and slippery conditions.

I hate winter. Our forecast is Below normal temps, wetter than normal precip and above normal snowfall. Oh well, we
just stock up on food, etc. My husband does get tired of blowing out our driveway, our son's driveway up the road and our DGD's yard a couple of miles away.

EC means equal chance of hi or low temps.Between each section

I am never ready for cold weather I shoveled enough snow last year getting my car out of the drive way to fill all of Lake Erie twice over --Give me 70 + any day

I am NOT a winter person at all.
Waiting to retire and move to a warm spot.

Thank you.

Hoping for an okay winter. In the freezing snow/ice, we prayed for warmer weather & look where we are now... :P

I LOVE the cold weather, can't wait. Hope it snows every day. I am not a summer person at all and don't want the sun to even touch my skin. My mother was from Iceland, don't know if that explains it or not but I have been counting the days to winter since the end of April.

I live in the northeast and the prediction is colder, wetter, and snowier than normal. Yuck is all I can say.

LindaaJR said a mild winter according to her black walnuts, I have a plain walnut tree and I may have an average crop. I`ll take that to mean a mild winter, as we live way out in the country and have been retired for 12 yrs already. Driveing is a always a worry !

We don;t have that many nuts, so does that mean that it will be a mild winter??
