My daughter started throwing up about 2:30 this morning. After 9 loads of laundry have been completed to clean up after her, my son started. So, load #10 is in the washer, and #11 is waiting patiently and getting larger.
Even when they are both sleeping, I feel too guilty to quilt. Why should I have fun when they are both miserable? |
thats what moms do :-)
|
After all that I'm surprised you're not too tired to quilt! :D
Your poor babies, hope they are better soon! |
Quilt to relax while you can, you are doing Mommy duty and they are being well cared for. Good thing for little ones it doesn't last long.
|
Aw, hope they feel better soon!
|
Hope the little ones get better soon, hope you don't catch it. Take care!
|
I hope they both feel better soon. As long as they are sleeping and you are watching them, you should do whatever relaxes you.
|
Hope your babies get well soon. These childhood colds are hard on them but worse on the parent because we can't take it on ourselves and let our darlings get well faster. All we can do is the best we can.
But as for feeling guilty about quilting while they are asleep, ask yourself... Does the noise of the sewing machine wake them up? Does your not sitting by their beds cause them to wake? Can you hear or see them from your sewing machine? Does your relaxing while sewing hurt them? Sew go on and sew sew sew, and then you can relax when you get too tired to sew. The washing machine will work without you watching it, and you'll have a feeling of accomplishment when finished with a lovely piece of art. Your kids will love it when they see what Mom made for them. |
Bless yer heart......now that is like "Sherman's March to the sea"., you might not want to do it but you are commanded, too. SO rest while you can. Fun can happen any time. Blessings, Ruth
