Altho my dh does not have diabetes, his health problems have warranted him going to our hospital/clinic on a monthly basis to have his feet taken care of. He has been notified that the office has been ordered to close down because Medicare would no longer authorize the treatments. I wonder how many of the diabetics have been notified that they will not have any care throughout the country because of this......................this is a change we could live without..........

It is really scarey. My sister works in a business office for a hospital and she hasn't said anything about this YET!

We got notified that MC will no longer pay for oxygen that is ordered by the doctor for at home use. Guess they are going to cut down on sick people. I hope that our retired military health care will some how pick up on this. He is a 22 yr navy veteran. Really hope people watch out. This country is doing a lot of changing that will not be for our best.

i know it's hard to keep it out of the conversation because it impacts people and we each have strong feelings about it no matter which side we're on.

however, let's please remember that politics are off limits as a topic of discussion. the new american health insurance laws and their impact are a political topic. we must not discuss them here.

thanks very much. ;-)
