Glad to hear you are healing. Now is the time to sort and catalog your quilt books and patterns. LOL That is what I told myself last year when I had ankle fusion surgery. Enjoy the summer the best that you can and remember to do the exercises you were given.

You get on the phone with your surgeon and find out what his post op orders say. When do you have a return visit to him? I can't imagine not knowing what future plans he's made. Arthroscopy is a bit easier than total joint, so it's only been 2 days...he may want it to not go through rehab for a few days, but when my arthroscopy was done 4 or 5 years ago, I was sent home on Friday and had rehab on Monday. Call them as soon as you can.

Just think you are going to be a new person, in pain no more when you are healed.

I found that having down time away from my sewing machine was a good time to go thru my old quilt magazines and just enjoy the pictures and reread some of Helen Kelly's articles in QN. I also had some books to read that I had put aside for later. Just enjoy the down time. All too soon, you will be back to normal and enjoying the new knee. I hope you are getting some therapy because it is really helpful. At least I thought so because I now can do everything I used to do before pain stopped me. Jan, (owner of two new knees)
