Finally, My Kind of Diet

Just read this article on losing weight in The Mirror newspaper: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/technol...ocolate-678550

I've got to say this is the most amazing diet I've ever heard of.

Panchita 02-14-2012 03:22 AM

Sounds good to me! :D

QuiltnNan 02-14-2012 05:01 AM

now, that's my kind of diet!!!

sewgray 02-14-2012 06:19 AM

I know the perfect diet, gauranteed to lose weight. If it taste good, spit it out.

Granny Quilter 02-14-2012 06:39 AM

Sure wish it could be mine! I just found out I can't eat anything chocalate again.

I "snuck" in a Hungry-Girl brownie for a snack today - does that count (instead of the cake)? >.<

I want to try this for sure. i don't care if it does'nt work. It sure will be fun trying.

katigirl 02-14-2012 09:03 PM

I could go for that kind of diet. Cake sure looks good.

Maybe Bill Cosby had it right all along - chocolate cake for breakfast! He can keep the grapefruit juice, though. Lol.

For some reason, choc. makes me hyper active. Maybe it is the drug in it. If I want to get a good days work in, then choc is my thing, because it is go, go, go and even that night I am still charged up and wide eyed, can't sleep.

bwahaha, guaranteed to work! When I was in my early twenties (and a whopping 110 lbs) I used to go on brownie diets: make a pan of brownies and eat them. Still 110 lbs.! *sigh* Those days a re long gone. I even look at a brownie now I put on 5 lbs.

I remember the old Bill Cosby skit about chocolate cake being a perfect breakfast food as long as you had it with grapefruit juice. I can do grapefruit juice.

chocolate has always been my choice for breakfast -and the only time in my life I weighed more than 120 was before my transplant--I am the only one in my family who is not carrying an extra 50 or more lbs so I will print out some copies to send their way

Olivia's Grammy 02-16-2012 01:58 PM

Mine too. If we have left over dessert I always eat it for breakfast. Does in only count if it's chocolate?

JoanneS 02-18-2012 02:21 PM

My only problem would be hiding the rest of that cake from myself ~ ~ ~

It's the caffeine in the chocolate.

Peckish 02-18-2012 05:21 PM

Caffeine and sugar. Same ingredients that go into those energy drinks.

My husband's Mom would let them eat chocolate cake for breakfast in a bowl with milk on it. My hubby is 5'11" and only weighs 169#. His Mom was very thin also. Maybe there is something to it!!!

I went to a party Friday night and had one brownie and didn't eat anything else there
and they had a great spread I just love chocolate :)
