Fingertip Towels

I seem to have accumulated several Christmas fingertip towels which we are not nearly dainty enough to use. Any ideas on re-purposing them?

Sew a couple together, add some sort of top with a button and hang over the oven door handle for quick hand wipes. Or, depending on the size, add some insulbrite and/or batting and make into hotpads or oven mitts.

I sew a loop on a corner and use them in the kitchen. They are smaller kitchen towels.

potholders or the nearest animal hospital can use them

If you have enough join together to make a larger towel for the dog or cat if you have one or for dirty hands from the garden.

I like them for a general clean-up cloth in the kitchen. They are larger than a dishcloth and smaller than a dish towel. Would really like to find a bunch of them as I have only one.

The best use that I have found for them is to make baby bibs. I cut out a circle near the top ( big enough for a head ) and sew a strip of stretchy edging like you would find on a cuff ( can't think of the name for it) I have made them for all of my grandkids and for gifts as well, then you can also embroidery on them to personalize. They are soft for wipping chins and wash up well too.
