I have been sending large envelopes and small packages by First Class Mail, and replies upon receipt are showing them currently taking four days to travel interstate.

Seems Post Offices are in financial straits ... due to internet, email, etc.
DH was Letter Carrier, so I can appreciate their hard work, long hours, bad
weather, etc. and never complain about service. Have you noticed the
beautiful new buildings in some areas, and the wonderful upgrading with
computerization?
I only have praise for all my local PO employees!

My Priority increased from 4 days to 1 or 2. I've mailed from a house on a Saturday and had it arrive 3,000 miles away on Monday. Much improved from 2008 when I was mailing weekly care packages.

The packages I mailed recently took much longer than I expected, but I was so relieved when my DD got them, I am not going to complain. LOL
