I wish someone would tell mother nature that it is Fall down here. It's still in the 90's everyday.

I agree. It is going to be once again in the high 90s for the next ten days. Was suppose to rain yesterday but not a drop landed.

The mornings here in north central Florida have been lovely. Nice and cool and so far it hasn't rained two full days, which is wonderful. We have had so much rain all summer that our county has declared a state of emergency.

It is still hot enough here that when it spits a little, it creates a steam bath feeling! It'll be like this probably through November, then start to cool off a little. But every time it sprinkles or rains for a few minutes the steam afterwards is a pain. Still beats the cold and snow.

It's felt like fall for about a week. Usually I look forward to this time of year but for some odd reason I'm not ready to say good bye to summer. I've been enjoying my daily walks with the Canada geese sightings. They'll be leaving for warmer climates soon.

It got warm here today, but fall is in the air, because we are having that up and down weather. Cool nights almost every night now. I love Fall.

I like Fall, Winter and Spring. I hate summer because of the humidity. We are supposed to have amild winter because of El Nino.

Oh, I so agree! It's 93 here and hotter tomorrow.
We ARE, however, supposed to have a cooling trend
for Sunday.... down to 86..woo hoo!

I'm firmly in the camp hoping for an Indian Summer! :) I do enjoy autumn, but want to hold on to the nicer weather for a bit longer...

Same story with Mike'sgirl here in Jacksonville!!
By the way...quiltfest started yesterday so I'm going today!

In Florida looking forward to a break from the heat and humidity.

coopah 09-25-2015 04:53 AM

Not here! We did have snow once in the 80's. Caused a real stir...just a few flakes. The natives were delighted...kids were just nuts...but I'm glad it rarely happens. Grew up with snow. Don't like it now.

rjwilder 09-25-2015 07:07 AM

I agree with gramadona, I'm in the Sacramento area, yesterday we had the A/C on. It sounds funny to be excited about an 86 degree cooling trend but we've had many 100+ up to 108 degree days. We need rain and a cooling trend and an end to all the wild fires.

annette1952 09-25-2015 07:34 AM

I wished we could pipe some of the heat to MI! lol Not too bad yet but it will be soon

squires1042 09-25-2015 08:28 AM

30 degrees here and snow is moving down the mountains, still gets to high 40's low 5o's during the day though.
