I get mine at Costco's but I am not sure of the kind.

Both DH and I take Fish Oil Capsules. Interesting note. When DH had surgery this last summer, fish oil was one of the things to stop taking a week before surgery. Acts like a blood thinner. We had never been told to stop taking the fish oil before. The list of foods and herbs to stop was interesting.

Just something to remember before a surgery.

I keep mine in the freezer and take at night before bed. I read that freezing reduces any chance of fishy taste/burping. DH has not complained about fishy breath and I've never had a problem with it in the morning. If I take it in the morning a few times I have noticed a slight breath problem later.

I've thought about taking it, but have allergies to scallops and salmon...anyone know if that'd be an issue?

My mother's heart doc. put her on it to help lower her cholestrol.

Flax Seed also high in Omega 3... dh takes that and it works at lowering his bp and cholestrol

Thanks Leota! I do consume a lot of flax in cereals...maybe it's time for a more concentrated suppliment!

I don't seem to notice it in my hands. I still hurt from arthritis and carpal tunnel. We do abuse our hands but we just have to quilt, it's addictive.
