We live in soCal but when we built our home I had 5 out ward swinging double french doors put in. They swing open onto the porches. When the weather is warm I like to open them to the outside instead of them having to come in as I have stuff inside standing in the way. We had to meet certain regulations to have them swing out wards as they normally swing in here. I love it. Thank fully no gators here. Brrrrr
