Love it, Barbara. I can always count on you to provide something that will
put a smile on my face. Thanks so much. Oh, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

How incredibly awesome was that??!!! So uplifting and inspiring. Found myself tapping my feet and smiling throughout. Wish all "flash mobs" were that cheery and good-feeling. Would definitely love to see one in person....or better yet, be a part of one. Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow quilters, friends and family. May you all stay safe and enjoy the holiday with those you love. :)

Thanks for sharing, that was fun to watch!

i love it!! but just one question, where do they learn the routine? how do they become so co-ordinated with each other, assuming they've never met? it is fascinating to me!!

Me too.

Flash mob at Copenhagen Central Station.

Not to be missed! On May 2, 2011, the Copenhagen Philharmonic amazed commuters at theCopenhagen CentralTrain Station, as they created a kind of orchestral "flash mob" performing Ravel's famed Bolero, with the musicians gradually assembling in place as the work progresses. The video which shows not only the assembling orchestra, but also the delighted faces of the commuters has generated overwhelming interest, and indeed has exceeded the orchestras expectations. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! <wbr>

If this version of Bolero doesn't get your blood flowing, nothing will.

Me too. I even watched it twice and cried both times.

jitkaau - i have seen it and you're right. it's a great flashmob. there was a thread on that about a year ago.

nancia - they HAVE to rehearse somewhere. they probably rehearse the stairs part somewhere that they have stairs, they do the big part somewhere like a gym, etc. i can't believe they never rehearsed together. i think they just don't take the video until they have it down pat. isn't it wonderful? :)

marcia - soon.

Thank you so much. As has been said, so wonderful to see all these people do something like this. Love the flash mobs. Think of the hours of practice to pull this off. Awesome.
