just when I think we have won the battle more show up. we have bombed the house twice sprayed everywhere vacuumed every day Anybody have any ideas to get rid of these things they are driving me nuts

keep flea collars in your vacuum and stuffed in the couch cushions. Garlic & vinegar in their food & water..sparingly..is said to help. Rinsing them with vinegar water as a final rinse when you bathe them helps too.

I give 2 dogs the pills from vet and 5 cats advantix and we have never had a problem.

We have found out that the "T-Gel"
shampoo, like Neautrgenia brand...Walmart brand or Dollar store works. Tar shampoo kills the fleas.

we have Frontline on the pets but we still got infested

You have to keep treating to make sure you've killed them in all four phases of their life cycle. Also make sure you are treating your yard or they'll just keep coming right back in, not just on your dogs but on you, too.

Also, if you live in an apartment you might check and see if your neighbors are infested.

Under control this year but last year was a nightmare. I ended up getting food grade diatomaceous earth and dusting the house. It worked but cleaning up was something else!

20plus years ago I remember having to bomb the house once a week for three or four weeks because each time adults were killed but not the eggs. We also had to do the yard with some sort of granular stuff.

We had a dog that was very allergic to flea bites. We'd have to take him to the vet for shots. So we went to the extreme for him & us.

Topical med such as Frontline, Advantage, Revolution. We live in So Calif and haven't seen a flea in years.
