News this morning mentions a tornado in Florida that destroyed 40 homes. Any of our beloved members caught in it? Everybody okay??

Please check in; we worry!

Man, I HATE tornados after 25 years living in tornado alley in TX.

Morning, Jan
TerraMar is 4 or 5 miles down river from where we live. As far as I know, everyone is safe but our news is saying about 40 homes were damaged. I could hear news helicopters circling at dawn but don't see anything new on TV channel web sites. Looks like the main issue will be getting the fallen trees off the homes and cars. You are right, tornados are the most scary weather event we can have.

There was lightening and thunder, quite severe starting at about 2:30 am till around 4am. The little lake outside our condo is the highest I have ever seen. No tornado here, thank goodness.
