jillnjo-very pretty clematis! my clematis was beautiful this year. did I think to snap a pic? eh no. my peonies were gorgeous. and smelled divine. iris were scarce. all are done blooming here in n.e. ohio too broke to plant any annuals but after this stupid cold runs its course I had better get to pulling weeds! the rain this year has helped the weeds take over. all I have blooming is roses.

This is the first time for me trying to post a picture, so I hope it comes through. I planted Zinnias this year to see if they could take the heat and they are hanging in there!

Your flowers are beautiful. My favorite in all the world is the Clematis, and I have not yet put two colors close together like that. They are just stunning that way.

Anyone else have pretty flowers blooming right now?

Ohhhh, those are lovely. Any chance of getting some seeds later on this summer? I would sure appreciate some.

Love all of the flower photos. We're starting to see our zinnias (sp) sprout up and show off their bright colors. Need to take some pictures of those.

I've had problems with hollyhocks. Is there a trick that I haven't figured out?

as promished here is a pic of my beauty bush.
It was Feb when we moved in and my DFL told us to cut it down, it was dead. It has peeling bark so I can understand why he thought that.

pic # 2 & 3 misc from different spots in the yard.

I don't have alot of flowere, but do have alot of beds, when various leafy plants and about 30 varities of hosta's.
