Beautiful. Thanks for sharing your spring with us. That was great.

Wow, Karla---thanks for the pic of your Martha Washington geranium. It is really pretty. The flowers are so ruffly. All your flowers are beautiful--you are blessed with a green thumb.

I bought two pretty geraniums this year--they have almost a candy cane stripe look to them. I have no idea if there is a name for them.

Karla, are the first pix lupine?

Everything looks awesome :)

Yes--Lupine. :D I love them--so hardy even in winds. But they get a bug that makes the leaves sticky, so I address that when I remember.

Karla, those are beautiful pix!

What a beautiful garden. I think I lost my one and only peony with the very cold winter we had. I'm bummin'. But, it looks as if you have plenty! Lucky you!

Karla, wonderful pics....Don't you just love the smell of the Lupine??? Mine is blooming, too...

sandpat 05-30-2009 04:29 AM

Wow Karla! Seems like just yesterday that you showed us where you planted new flowers for this year...there weren't any buds showing on any of your plants then! Mother Nature sure is quick! Beautiful!

RedGarnet222 05-30-2009 11:48 AM

Wowie! I love your garden barnbum! When do you find the time to do all the things you do? Do you gt up in the middle of the night? Your russel lupines are beautiful. Well it is all beautiful.

Celeste 05-30-2009 12:53 PM

All that beauty! Thank you so much for sharing them with us, especially this "black thumb"!

Rhonda 05-30-2009 01:01 PM

Everything is so beautiful!! I am not a gardner but my mom is and we live in her backyard so she does all the flower beds in front of our house. I love looking but I don't like getting dirt under my nails! That is reserved for getting ink from my sewing under my nails!

You are a great photographer!! some of those pictures you should enter them somewhere. They look so professional! Your composition in all of them is excellent!
I was thinking that same thing when I saw the pictures of the foals. Some of those should be framed!!

barnbum 05-30-2009 04:26 PM

Aww--thanks everyone... I'm just getting ready to post pix of the blooms that happened!! Rhonda--I'd love to enter a contest or sell some to make calendars--but can't find a place to do it. Thanks for liking them though. :D
