Those look wonderful! I may have to fit those into my "have to make those before Christmas" schedule!

Lovely little stars..you are a good soul!...my friends and I decided to make these...they aren't as easy as it looks...nimble fingers are needed. We each made one and decided that was enough:D

Cute little stars! Thanks for the lead on the youtube video~ :)

When I was a girl we used to make these with paper and then dip them in wax and sprinkle glitter on them. Haven't seen them in fabric before this.

A few weeks ago my sisters and I made about 70 of these stars. I had cut and pressed the Christmas fabric before our reunion. We did them in kind of an assembly line fashion while sitting on my sister's porch in northwestern North Carolina looking out on the mountains. The memories will be treasured forever. Anyway, I plan to give a star to each of the guild members at our Christmas party (just have them available in a basket). The people in the guild have helped me so much with my Days for Girls feminine hygiene kits this past year. I have saved some stars out to give to my "Loose Threads" church sewing group too.
My advice on doing this craft with a group is to have each table of 4 or 5 people have one leader who has been pre-trained and practiced. It would make everything go smoother. |
Your stars came out great.

Those are great! I've been looking for a little something that I could whip up quickly. Thanks for the link!

Rob My local family received their gift bags with ornaments today and loved them. So they were a hit... |
