The last time my parents visited I thought it would be fun to do a 4 generation girl photo. Meredith and Melissa are my daughters. Meredith's daughters are Katelyn, Emily and Madison. Melissa's daughter is Sofie.

Just wanted to share with you~I think my mom looks awesome to be a great grandmother!!!

This is just a wonderful photo, Marcia - the kind of one that should be enlarged and framed. Your Mom looks great, but, wow, you don't look like you should have so many grandchildren!!! (I love the folded quilt on the back of the couch, too :lol: )

WOW All you ladies look so young ! I would never have guessed about the 4 generations ...all are looking good :lol:

Thanks Ducky--the quilt is a flannel Yellow Brick Road that I made years ago--it is a favorite in the winter to cuddle under while watching TV.

Not 10, but still young. My mom was 17 when she married and had me at age 19. I married at 20 and had just turned 24 when Meredith was born. I'm not telling how old Meredith is.....

Thanks--I always forget how everyone on the board notices all the little details in pics! I should have cleaned up the kitchen before we took the pics!

You're too sweet, Loretta. Just good genes, I think. My mom's father just died last year--he was 98 and still had all his marbles. I keep telling myself I am living to be over 100 and am just now in "midlife".

But, I do eat a pretty healthy diet--lots of salads and lean meats. I also do yoga and either ride a bike or run occasionally.

Beautiful Marcia, There is 5 generations in my Family. Mom,me,DDs,Grdsons,Grt.Grd.Sons. But We have only one Girl and She is a GRTGrndDaughter. Two of my Grandsons have kids. Isn't it wonderful? Yep it needs to be enlarged and framed. You look GOOD GIRL!!!

What a beautiful family. Mom looks GREAT! Meredith looks about 14. Youthful looks must run in the family. You don't look old enough to be a grandmother either. Such a wonderful family.

Thanks Patti-I do think we have some pretty young looking genes and the older I get the happier I am about it!! Meredith is actually 32 and Melissa is 26. People frequently tell them that they look too young to have kids.

Thank you! And I do happen to have 2 really good looking sons too---but neither of them have been kind enough to marry and give me grandkids!!

No-my mom and I are the same height-I just leaned over the loveseat some and she stood. I hadn't even noticed the difference in the pic.

Sofie just cracks me up!! In the picture you sent me the other day, she was holding her foot in it too!!! She has a foot thing going on!!! :lol: :lol:

She does seem to have a foot thing--if she is not holding her foot, then she has her ankles crossed. It is sooo cute. It is hard to believe that she will be 1 in just a few weeks.

Oh Wow! Already?!!!!! What day is it??? I have it written down somewhere but well, you know how it is!!!!!!

June 26th--less than 3 weeks! And they are having her baptized next Sat (the 13th)-I will send you a pic of that too

Cool cant wait!!!!! I remember now, cause that is my oldest brothers BDay!!!! Maybe Shyla will have her baby then too!!!! :D
