Freezer paper users rejoice!

Reynolds now makes 150 foot rolls! Twice as long as the original. Still 18" wide which I wouldn't want to change. Many of you may already have known this, but I'm delighted to have gotten some.

As a dedicated PP with freezer paper person I'm delighted! Sorry I can't tell you if any cost saving - I asked my DD to get some for me and so she found this big one!

That is great---did not know they had big rolls--I use it a lot in doing appliques.

Must be from Costco. Everything is super-sized there. LOL

No, I saw the big roll at Walmart the other day--the only size they carried. I waited and bought the smaller roll at my grocery for less money--only needed a small bit.

I use freezer paper a lot. I nearly always draw out my own pattern (hate scant 1/4 inch) and I do a lot of fussy cutting so using a freezer paper template that I can iron in place before cutting (no slippage) makes it more accurate and easy. The 150 square foot roll is all I have ever gotten in years and convenient since it is at my local wally world.

Kitsie- I never heard of using freezer paper for PP. What am I missing??? :)
I just got a PP class with Peggy Martin on Craftsy and am finally going to make something!

I keep meaning to try it the next time I PP, but haven't yet, you don't sew through the paper, you fold the paper back along the printed line and sew right next to the paper. You can use the pattern several times before the "sticky" wears off, and no paper ripping when your done.

My Sis bought me a huge roll many years ago, my hubby made me a sling thing to hang it out in the garage. (I put a towel draped over it to keep it from getting dusty) I use it for my hand appliqué.

I'm still working through a roll we found at my mother in law's house when we were cleaning it out. The roll must be at least 25 or 30 years old but still works fine. I guess I don't use a lot of it.
