Childbirth at 65

With all the new technology regarding fertility recently, a 65-year-old friend of mine was able to give birth.. When she was discharged from the hospital and went home, I went to visit.

'May I see the new baby?' I asked

'Not yet,' She said 'I'll make coffee and we can chat for a while first.'

Thirty minutes had passed, and I asked, 'May I see the new baby now?'

'No, not yet,' She said..

After another few minutes had elapsed,

I asked again, 'May I see the baby now?'

'No, not yet,' replied my friend.

Growing very impatient, I asked, 'Well, when can I see the baby?'

'WHEN HE CRIES!' she told me.

'WHEN HE CRIES?' I demanded. 'Why do I have to wait until he CRIES?'

'BECAUSE I FORGOT WHERE I PUT HIM, O.K.?!!'

LOL, I read this to my husband and he put his hand on his head and said "oh, [explicitive]"

My mom was only 26 but she forgot my little brother (2 days old) sleeping while we (my mom, sister, and myself) took my grand mother home! We got about five miles from home and mom screams JOSHUA!!!!! She quickly turned the car around and FLEW home! He was still asleep in the same spot as she left him.

I was 24 when I had my first child and my Mom and I were happily purchasing something at the local store, one block from home when we ran into my dad on his lunch break from work who asked us where the baby was. He too was at home right where I had put him in his cradle after I had fed and changed him. Sound asleep.
