My dl made a cake yesterday for dinner today. She put it outside to cool if off since she had to frost it as she had to work last night. She happened to look out the window and saw a squirrel on the patio and thought that was kind of strange. After looking closer the squirrel was eating her cake!!! Needless to say we didn't have any cake with our dinner.

Did she say "Ah Nuts!"?
|

A cake eating squirrel - who knew. Hope your DL can see the humor in the situation 'cause that is funny.

With the amount of squirrels we have around these parts ain't nothing edible safe outside. LOL!!

I was at a park and saw a deer walk over and start munching on a birthday cake! It was hilarious!!
|
While I find that funny, I'm sure she didn't. LOL

It knew something good when it saw it.

Reminds me of the time I made Turkey Carcass Broth and put it on the back porch to cool. I looked out the kitchen window just in time to see the neighbor's Golden lapping it up.

Oh, no!

Cute story to send to Reader's Digest... |
Ha, ha, ha, bet that won't happen again.

Hope you put nuts in the cake because this is a squirrells favorite food. He must of been pretty hungry. Laughing here as this is really funny. Warning, birds will eat cake too.

My Brother would get so mad at the one that lived in his yard it was bold enough to eat his donut and spill his coffee every chance it got. My brother was never far from it, it was one smart squirrel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
That cake must have been really good! I bet she won't put it outside again. :D

I made a pineapple pie to bring to my grandparents for dessert- it was still warm, so I put it on the back porch to cool. Grampie, who was bedridden, called for his dessert when he was ready. I went outside, and the pie dish was empty. The neighbor's dog had eaten it all! We had a hard time convincing the old man, who still thought we were just keeping him from his dessert!

Squirrels get hungry too.
