Fusible vs. Glue - looking for advice.

I'm working on a project with medium-weight polyester poplin. I used some Wonder Under at one end to create a channel, like for a curtain rod, because the front can't show any stitches. The problem is that the poly poplin shrank slightly from the heat of the iron. I need to do this several more times. Does anyone use a fabric glue that's good on poly? Or have a suggestion for using the fusible? This bond needs to be secure.

Thanks,
Tate

hmm...don't think I've ever used permanent glue on fabric...I know Joann's sells something there though for a permanent bond....I'll follow this thread to see what folks use.

Try using a pressing cloth with your glue, it may make all the difference you need

I use one of two things...Liquid Stitch or Zig 2 Way Glue Pen(acid and xytone free). They are available at Walmart or Joanns and many places on line..You can read about them then decide....Have had good luck with both...Hate to admit to occasionally hemming something with it...I REALLY HATE HEMMING ANYTHING, especially with the warped fingers these days.
