Future quilter

I believe we may finally have another quilter in the family. My granddaughter loves playing with fabric scraps while I quilt.

She looks like she is really enjoying the fabric and very strong possibility!

Girls will be girls! The love of fabric runs in our genes.

So adorable. Starting early!! When my granddaughter was a little older I made her a "design board" which was foam core board covered in pink flannel and then I gave her scraps and she made her own "patterins" as she called them, on her board. She had a great time with it.

that's how it starts with all of us. I see a future quilter in your life

Uh oh...."I see fabric...I touch fabric....I quickly get fabric to vehicle"....Yep...this one's a potential quilter...she's already thinking about stash-building:). Very cute pic....thanks for sharing.

Now THAT's funny! I see a lovely fabric designer in that little girl's future ...

This made me smile. I'm hoping my DGD will want to sew one day (her mom had no interest in it), but she live about 2 1/2 hours from me, so I guess I won't hold my breath. I DO have fond memories of my grandma's house, where she ALWAYS had a quilt on, and at the age of four, I was allowed to 'help' tie quilts...

I love your idea. I have a form board and believe I will take your idea and make a design board for my little DGD.

I certainly hope so! I have another DGD who is 19 years old, she made two quilts when she was about 8 years old and has never shown interest since then. I hope I can keep this young one on the "right path"

Too cute! Your DGD is clearly a girly girl with those toe nails painted!!! How long until she goes on a shop hop with you?

Such precious memories! My grandmother made a lot of quilts, but I never saw her working on them as she was always cooking when I was there.
