Future of Sewing Machines?
Amazing....folds up to the size of a laptop. How nice would this be to take to classes or streamlining a sewing space?
http://sewreview.com/blog/foldable-s...y-itay-potash/ There are many different "prototype" sewing machines on this site so look around at the other designs and articles for the sewing world. Fun, interesting site for sewers. |
I don't know about others my age, but I just hate having to change anything in my life. I love my old Bernina. I just can see the concept of everything folding up and unfolding and still working. I guess I am stuck in the past.

oh, great, one more machine for my collection. When can we classify it as "vintage"?

Fascinating! Where do you access the bobbin? I want one! But they will probably cost an arm and a leg.

For ME (personal opinion only here) no, no, no, no, no!!!!!
Just WON'T change to that kind of machine LOL. |
Amazing design work! Do I want one tho? No.
It's always interesting to see innovation and creativity, so thanks for posting that link. |
I love my Janome Platinum Gold Jem.... That is good enough for me.... I am very impressed with it.
|
I think it's kind of cool. I'd love to see it in action.

Actually the price of vintage machines seems to be skyrocketing...Old machines running in the hundred? That sounds high to me, then add parts, etc. |
Maybe great for those RV quilters!
