FYI~~Fraud alert

Yesterday I got a delivery notice in my email from DHL. I am not expecting any deliveries, so my curiosity was up. I opened it to a point, but the word Duetsche popped up.
I went to the DHL delivery website this morning, and... as they say, if it sounds too good to be true, then it most likely is.

Have a great day!

Susan-
I also got one of those emails a couple of weeks ago, but it was in my "junk" folder so I was suspicious. I wasn't expecting any deliveries either, so deleted it.
Funny we're both in Colorado . . .

I get those too. I send them to the trash bin then delete them.

I check my junk often to see what I missed and as usual not much. often you really need to be careful opening anything up. If you're not expecting anything don't open. It can be a virus. Once I was expecting something from DHL but this wasn't it. I got hit bad. If anyone wants to send me anything I tell them Priority mail or UPS. I'll help with the shipping costs.

I'm getting all kinds of junk emails in my very old account. I use it for everything online. I get Subway ones too and I never go there nor give out my email to them.

For those that use paypal, I just got an email. that 150 dollars was charged to my paypal account from something I purchased on ebay that I didn't purchase with a link on the page for paypal. It sounded fishy so I opened a separate page and logged into paypal directly to check and of course that charge is not there, but they were fishing for my paypal information through my email, and it looked exactly like the paypal, and ebay emails you can get, con artists are getting very smart, but not smart enough

anytime I find an email from PayPal in my junk mail box I delete it. It is from someone on a fishing scam ALWAYS!!!!!

I have even gotten emails saying it is from the USPS, just click delete and log in directly if necessary. I read a techie article that said the vast majority of problems now are not from spam emails but from hijacked websites. Now the hackers can imbed fake links on a real website, kind of like the skimmers they can mount on the gas pumps.

Last year my husband opened one of those DHL e mails,it destroyed his hard drive, lost everything in his computer, beware of these type emails.
