Boxers are so smart and lovable. We have a friend whose Golden had a litter of 13. They divided the litter into the strongest 7 and the weakest 6, so the weaker ones would get a good shot at Mom. All survived! They were so cute in their TWO baskets, which they quickly outgrew. All but one were adopted. A year later, our friend had a first birthday party, and they all got to jump in the neighbor's pool. Mayhem! Gotta love Goldens.

I was told Ruby Lu was going to have 5-6 puppies.........Well guess what......she had "10" that's right 10.
How did he get 5-6....I thought I saw more but assumed he knew what he was talking about.
There are 6 boys and 4 girls.
We are having to bottle feed them also to help mom keep up. I am taking volunteer's to help and come puppy sit.
There was one pup who had a ruff start, kept going blue, he is much better now and doing well.

get her some calsiem tablets an that will help her with her milk.soshe don't go calsiem diffiecent.If she get that way the only way to bring her out of it is get her to vet asap an they'll put her on an IV an five years ago it was $150.00here for over night stay good luck dear.she'll get stiff legged an can't move when she gets that way.

Thank you, the vet gave her a calcium shot on saturday and she has been on 500 mg 2x a day. I am helping mom by bottle feeding and I mix some of the formula in her food and she gets the left over in the bottles.
She is so protective that I have to feed her in the bed with the puppies and hold the bowl. Doya think she is spoiled?
Everybody is doing well.

Well that makes me feel a whole lot better knowing she got a jump start you might say then she's to nice a momma dog to lose her just from what I can see I had a friend that had to put hers to sleep cause her preveious owner was mean to her.

Mom will not let me separate them nor put them in something. She moans and crys until I put them in the bed with her. We are bottle feeding them to help her and the smallest ones get feed first. I start weaning them at about 4 1/2 weeks and by 5 weeks they are on their own eating.

Boxer Mom;

Kudos on being a great 2nd mom to those puppies and for helping Ruby. Boxers are so precious when tiny and so lovable when all grown up. Our neighbor has a white boxer and he is not deaf nor even partially but boy is he playful at 5 months of age. We are going to try to take him for walks with our two dogs so that he gets some doggy socialization and also gets used to walking on a leash. We want to do this to help make him a better pet and so that his mom can safely take him for a walk. He pulls right now badly for her.

They are all gorgeous!! We have 2 boxers..6 year old Yaz and 2 year old Yogi. Yogi is such a clown...lives for his ball, which he only gets to have in the house...I'm too afraid of choking!! They are so sweet natured...except Yaz gets totally pissed off at Yogi sometimes and growls and snaps at him.

I love the pics of the boxer puppies. I hope they all get great homes and I hope you are getting some sleep at night. I have a boxer girl named Rosa, she is about two years old now. She is a little rescue girl. My daughter is a volunteer for NorCal boxer rescue and she was one of her first fosters. We love boxers! I will try to add a picture later when I figure it out.
