Was $3.95 here today. Heard a guy on radio say it will go lower--we'll see--it surprises me when the terrorists have taken over some of the oil fields in Iraq, etc.

blhaines 10-15-2014 06:51 PM

My husband and I have been traveling in our motorhome since mid-July. We are in Oklahoma tonight and found gas at $2.59/gal. LOVE the cheaper gas prices since we have a 75 gallon tank that gets filled up often!

Edie 10-16-2014 02:12 AM

I am getting gas here today for $2.84 a gallon - yay, but it still doesn't beat the 25 cent a gallon back in the 60's, eh? Edie

maryfrang 10-16-2014 09:13 AM

I am in Missouri and the gas yesterday was 2.87 near me. I am about 60 miles outside of Kansas City MO.

The price has been dropping over the last two week about 3cents every other day.

nwm50 10-16-2014 01:33 PM

3.09,, happy driver!

nhnative 10-16-2014 01:39 PM

I saw $2.89 today in NE Ohio

Monroe 10-16-2014 04:51 PM

$3.43 near Albany, NY, 5 cents higher with credit card. I'm sure there will be some excuse to jump it back up soon.

Minnesewta-sam 10-16-2014 05:03 PM

Just dropped again yesterday near me. It's $2.89 a gallon. Woot woot!

cbpirate 10-16-2014 06:12 PM

it was 3.45.9 when I filled up today. maybe it will keep going down, cost of a barrel of crude was about 80. or less. and, as someone said, we are finding our own more than depending on another country. I am on south oregon coast, inland, someone said it was 3.19.9. that is really good for our area.......

mountain-moma 10-16-2014 06:28 PM

3.07 right now hopefully it will continue to go down some more

OldHairTwister 10-16-2014 08:03 PM

Last week I filled up at $2.79...this week it is back at $3.25. Still better than $4.10 a couple of months ago!

just joan 10-17-2014 03:25 AM

Yesterday oil price dropped to $84.00 a barrel the lowest in 4 years , and the price of gas here jumped up 20 cents a gallon. What is that about?

himnherr 10-17-2014 03:29 AM

$2.69 all over Springfield, MO! Loving it, since I put a gazillion miles on my car every week.

DJinSC 10-17-2014 06:17 AM

Just paid $2.69. I'm loving it! Wonder how low it will go.

IrishgalfromNJ 10-17-2014 06:45 AM

I paid $2.92 at Sam's Club this morning. I'm down south.

gramajo 10-18-2014 03:29 AM

Barbshobbies 10-21-2014 02:08 PM

Near Green Bay, WI to day it`s $3.19 the least in many a moon!

donnajean 10-21-2014 02:15 PM

Still over $3.00 when I was out on Sunday. Paid $3.59/gal. for mid grade for my riding mower.

tesspug 10-21-2014 02:59 PM

DH saw an article that said the lower prices are because Putin opened the Ukrainian refineries and flooded the marketed. I'm sure they will find a way to raise the prices again. We paid $3.59 to $3.99 on our trip last week up the California coast . We did find it at $4.39 in one isolated stretch.

Learner747 10-21-2014 06:25 PM

Was in Union MO this morning. $2.49!

cashs_mom 10-21-2014 07:23 PM

I just saw that prices are going down right now. $2.49 a gal for regular in some areas. I need gas so I'm filling up tomorrow

Podunk Princess 10-21-2014 08:05 PM

It's $2.99 here in the town where we live, however, we went shopping today in a bigger town about 40 miles north of us and it was $2.79. Topped off the tank before we started back home.

Remember the gas wars in the 60's? Gas was less than 30 cents a gallon back then (of course minimum wage was about $1.25 so it all evened out). When I was a teenager in Southern California, we used to all chip in less than $1 and we could cruise around all night on the weekends!

nhnative 10-22-2014 05:50 AM

I paid $2.83 in Cuyahoga Falls Oh yesterday
