That is incredible. I used to see them all over, not so much anymore. Never knew how they were made.

Wow, thanks for sharing. I remember seeing those candles usually in tourist places. Very much a work of art.

My mom is from Berlin and I own several carved candles, from little to HUGE....I love them, but they are so dang hard to clean and keep cleaned! My candles are not like this...the are actual carvings of like a wood carver carving animals in the forest, children around the May pole, things like that..detail REAL life images...might have to take a few pix tomorrow!
