Hey, everyone, with all the icing predicted and likely electrical problems, be sure to stockpile some water in case the power is out so you can still FLUSH with a bucketful. Take it from an experienced ol' lady with a nagging bladder. As a former cub scout pack leader -- be prepared.

LOL you are so right. Many, many years ago in early March we had a terrible ice storm and were without power for several days. Luckily, it was not that cold outside and we were able to dip buckets of water from our swimming pool and bring in so we could flush. My irritation right now is that we are having major septic issues...need it pumped and, most likely, new laterals. What a mess!

I think you will have worst weather than us, stay safe!
We are expecting some ice, did get about 2" of snow over night.

cans of soup, non electric can opener, instant coffee,bottled water, lots of candles.(and matches!) That got us through 10 days of no electricity. Of course we had gas logs in the fireplace, heated food and drink and ourselves with that.
