Fabric may be expensive, but one doesn't need to be a crook to get a bargain or steal from the store. Learn to shop around.
There's no excuse for that type of rudeness. |
At least she admitted it! That's funny.

This is a great link. I'm forwarding to my friends who have worked in retail. Personally, I loved working in retail. I think, though, as I've become older I no longer have the patience for that sort of nonsense.
Some of the other ones are really funny. Particularly the one about the sandwich. |
I just sent a link to my friend who is in retail management. She will certainly appreciate these stories and I know she has some she needs to contribute!

That is so wrong. Small businesses can't afford to take losses like that.

it is sad..but if you only knew how often it happens...I have seen them tear the price tags off and SWEAR they found it on the remnant table...or bring in sharpies and match the color of the clearance bolts..you know the RED slash through the price...yeah..not a good thing for shops to use...
I have seen them take a razor blade to the bolt and say it is FLAWED...spill soda on it and say it is DIRTY...and trust me...not all of these customers need a discount..some folks just have to try and get something for NOTHING... |
Some people will try anything.
