Getting into Trouble on Craig's List!!

So decided to check out CL today...typed in "sewing" and got this!!

http://jackson.craigslist.org/cld/3461427038.html

Must say, I was a little jolted!! HeHe But for those of you with SI's, this might be a good stocking stuffer!! LOL

DogHouseMom 12-09-2012 02:31 PM

Oh lordy! I'm also laughing at your "stocking stuffer" pun!!

Reminds me of the time my husband did a google search for 'vibrators'. He was looking for an INDUSTRIAL vibrator to vibrate a seed pan.

That same ad is in my local CL postings as well. It must be national.

momto5 12-09-2012 07:54 PM

That's way too much info for me...:)

When my daughters were little I typed American Girl doll clothes, because I wanted to make some clothes for their dolls. What I got were lots of porn sites! I was quite surprised, to say the least.

bearisgray 12-09-2012 10:43 PM

It's kinda cute - doesn't look like it would take much fabric to make one! :o

tesspug 12-09-2012 11:23 PM

I love how it says, "Proudly made in the USA!"

Scakes 12-10-2012 04:03 AM

LOL! I think it is too early in the morning for this. It's only 6 a.m.

I typed in Barbie dolls once. We just will not go there except to say it took some work to get all the crap off my computer

Grannyh67 12-10-2012 05:25 AM

LOL< you beter be careful what you type!!! Sometime you get more that you bargain for, lol...........I have done some of it myself, sometimes it is really bad. So now I try to be more specific, lol.

I think seeing that woke me up more than my morning cup of coffee did.:)

MaryAnnMc 12-10-2012 06:17 AM

That brings back memories. My first foray into sewing for the public was making costumes for my next door neighbor in the early 60's. She worked as a stripper at Jack Ruby's place in Dallas. I was making $250 a month as a legal secretary and she offered me $300 each to make her costumes. The dresses were heavy and needed industrial strength break-apart zippers, but the G-strings and Pasties were very easy to make. She and a friend of hers paid for me a new car.

LOL!!! Funny!

I was looking for "steam Hair roller",typed in 3 way rollers and it took forever for porn to quit coming to my e mail. I meant 3 way steam/dry/wet/ not the other 3 way!

I used to do a little writing and once researched history of when women first started wearing underwear: panties, bloomers, etc, and I got into a porn/gay site. I forget how I searched, but it took me a while before I got to the right info.

I liked that they wanted you to have a 'blessed day'. I wasn't brave enough to click on any of the pictures - too afraid of what I would see - thankfully someone is always working overtime to keep me out of trouble on the internet.

Amythyst02 12-11-2012 04:23 AM

ok seeing those at 5am is just a bit more than I can handle at this hour. I am skeered to check out my Craigs list here...lol.

Stitchit123 12-11-2012 06:48 AM

cathyvv 12-11-2012 07:01 AM

Geri B 12-11-2012 07:57 AM

QuiltNama 12-11-2012 08:14 AM

Was looking for a quilt pattern one time made by Too Much Fun....you can only imagine what came up with that search. LOL I am way more careful in my searches now.

Carol34446 12-11-2012 01:48 PM

Oh my, thanks for the laugh!

butterflies5518 12-11-2012 05:43 PM

Cute but totally not what I expected!

Debbie C 12-11-2012 05:45 PM

such a small amount of fabric for the men's g-strings! OMG - they leave not very much to the imagination!! At least her prices are very reasonable - LOL!!

sewingsuz 12-11-2012 05:54 PM

I ordered something in the mail onetime for a gag gift for a male friend and after that you should have seen the catalogs I got in the mail. I was shocked, and this must have been 18 yrs ago.

HouseDragon 12-11-2012 06:21 PM

*LOL* You really must be quite specific when you google!

I love naughty (aka "bad") Sunbonnet Sue quilts.

Ladies, DO NOT search for "naughty Sue"!!!
:D

Dragonomine 12-13-2012 05:45 AM

Oh my goodness! You know, my husband is always telling me to try to sell stuff on there (been trying to sell my 55 gallon fish tank) but I can't do it. Someone could come rob or kill me! Scares me to death!
