Here we only have wet, damp COLD. Would like some powdery snow ionce in a while. Some of the Northern counties in the state got snow, but we only gor cold rain. Love to look at pics of others snow.

We have 4-5 inches here in the Atlanta area---everything just stops here when it snows.

7" of snow here and that is a LOT for Georgia. It's beautiful, we still have power and are cozy and warm. All is good.

Well it was close to 80 today here in S. Fl. Cold front coming this weekend which means it will drop a few degrees. So all you snowed in folks come on down.

It isn't morning here in Oregon and for some reason this thread site doesn't arrive until very late in the afternoon....but it was 29 this morning and didn't warm up a whole lot all day.

Happy Tuesday quilters. Started cutting some fabric last night and hopefully getting two items done by this weekend; a wallhanging and a lap quilt; gifts for my neighbor and a lady who helps me. Thanks for visiting my coffee clutch today. Make yourself a good day.

We were supposed to leave for FL today. Postponed it until Saturday due to the road conditions reported in Tennessee and Georgia, especially Atlanta area. I am all packed and ready.

So, more time for sewing this week since I had nothing on the schedule here.

Good morning from Phoenix. It is about 40 here, however we are heading to our cabin to play in the snow this week end. I was told by the guy that plows our driveway we have 4 feet of snow. Sounds like a good time coming our way!:)

It started snowing yesterday. Your typical gray-clouded day, that I would rather have been home with a good book, or sewing, or anywhere rather than at work. This morning, the sun is out and glistening in little tiny sparkles all over with 9" of snow out there. I am glad that I am home today. The snow is clinging on trees, leftover flower stems and I just love looking out the window at it. Glad I didn't have to work today. Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

We woke to about a 3-4 foot drift between the house and the vehicles. Guess I will be blowing before going out this afternoon. It is still snowing and blowing, and forecast winds of 25-30 this afternoon, so DH may have to blow before I come home so I can get back in the house!!!

OH that makes me miss my home in NW Ohio. WE are wintering in Florida again this year, even after a nasty winter season down hear last year, things are not a whole lot better so far this year. The only good thing is at least we see the sun nearly every day. Not so last year. Temps usually in the mid 60's, but have had cold nights and our water did freeze in the RV once already this season. Pouring rain now, but it is so badly needed here. I have seen lakes that were full of water several years ago, that are just puddles on the ground now. I count the days though until I can return home in the spring. Why not now you say,,, if I am so miserable here.. MY DH likes to come down here in the winter. Before I retired he came without me, but can't convince him to do that now...
