Good news to share!!!
 

My husband and I are going to be grandparents!!!! Our daughter and her husband are expecting in November. I am just over-the-moon excited! They live about 20 minutes away so I plan to be an "engaged" grandmother.... not smothering.... "engaged" ...... cause heaven knows I need my "alone" time.

I have already forewarned my employer that I will be taking off a week in November..... date to be flexible. lol

They have asked what I want to be called..... I am debating between "MiMi" and "JuJu" .... a name that our neighbor's 3 year old calls me..... who has basically become our adopted grandchild. FYI.... My given name is Judy.

What do you think... "MiMi" or "JuJu"?

I have found that the kids decide. You can pick and I'm sure they will change it.

My mil wanted to be called Nana. Fil was PopPop.

If the little neighbor calls you JuJu, your grandbaby may well pick that name up when around you. Whatever your called you'll love it. I'm happy for you!!! As the kids get older they dropped the Grannie, and just call me Chee Chee.
