We have been doing a lot of traveling back and forth to New York City over the last few months. My children have been applying for private schools and had interviews and testing to do, all at different times. It all paid off. My older boy was admitted to The Dwight school in NYC with a full scholarship. We are extremely happy for him. We don't know yet about the little one, but there were very little spots available for next year for him and a lot of competition.

I am not worried about him. I didn't want my High Schooler to get lost in the NYC public school system. He is very talented and needs extra stuff or he gets bored. He is in 10th grade taking college physics. All I need now is to get the job I interviewed for and we are on our way to recovery.

SO happy for you and you boys!!!! Time to CELEBRATE!

As another mom with academically talented children I can appreciate the honor of the first one and the need to keep the second from falling thru the cracks of a large school system.
