Good tv series to binge watch.

I found this series on BritBox and I was involved with the characters in five minutes. It's very good.

Ordinary Lies.

I started watching this series and couldn't stop. I love a good binge series. So many good shows from other countries. I really like the Australian shows too. Whiskey Road is fantastic.

I stopped the cable/satellite service and have Netflix, Amazon Prime, BritBox and Acorn streaming channels and only spend 1/4 of what cable was costing. Cable had so many channels that we did not watch even on the basic tier. All the major tv channels have steaming now too. We didn't have to buy a new smart tv. Just bought a Roku and plugged it in.

I will have to add this to my watch list. Thanks

Yes that is a brilliant show, loved it. Have you seen 'Cold Feet'? It has just finished here, and probably no more to come.

It's Mystery Road not Whiskey Road. LOL

How much is BritBox a month?

I get BritBox through Amazon Prime as a subscription channel. I'm not sure but think it's about $7 a month.

Loved Mystery Road. Just finished binging Line of Duty. Now that was sitting on the edge of my seat binge watching.

We Love Heartland. It is from Canada. We are anxiously waiting for Netflix to add Season 11. Because it is on Netflix, we have gone back to the beginning and binge watched all 10 seasons.

I do think we liked it better before “babies” were added to the cast. Funny how no one watches their own kids. Haha. But that is what big blended family’s do.

I watched McLeod’s daughters recently on prime and now onto Jackson’s wharf. Enjoyed both!

Binge watched all of Outlander until Netflix cut it short at season four (?)

Is Prime worthwhile?

Line of Duty is one of my all time favourite shows. The very last season is awaited with baited breath.

I like Prime but we seem to watch Netflix more than anything.

My husband likes dark stuff and also funny, and he found "The Patriot" on Prime. I wouldn't have watched it, judging by the name, but it has been hysterical and keeps us guessing. We also enormously enjoyed the first 2 seasons of Mrs. Maisel this year. He doesn't usually go for "women's shows", but he liked it too. The characters are so much fun, and I'm enjoying the costuming and ambiance of the 40s/50s time period.

There is so much good TV on these days - I used to use it like a radio while I was quilting, but now, if I miss the non-verbal inflections and subtitles, it's easy to lose track of the more complex storylines. It's turning me into a couch potato!! (I am so easily addicted!)

I just watched the Umbrella Academy on NetFlix and loved it. I have never binged for 6 episodes straight through before.

I enjoyed Bosch on Prime.

Watson, I got Prime for the 'free' shipping at Amazon and it is a bonus.

Thanks for all the ideas!! We are currently watching Widow on Prime, which we are enjoying!

We loved Marvelous Mrs Maisel on Amazon Prime,

also: Brokenwood (New Zealand detective series) on Acorn is a lot of fun.
