Sometimes it is difficult to find an entry within a specific blog or website.
Here is a standard Google Search tip that is useful. 1. Get the website/webpage and write it down WITHOUT the http://www. 2. Think of the keyword of your topic – such as circles, pincushions, etc. 3. In the Google Search box put the keyword (leave a space)site: blahblah.com This will search only this site for instances of your keyword In practice For example: I want to find a circle tutorial within http://www.dioramarama.com The google search criteria will be circle site:dioramarama.com But with all things Internet/IT, in my experience – it does go wrong from time to time! I just Google a sentence, like: How to make a paper pieced lion quilt block. I get great results 99% of the time by using Google images and seeing the results without a lot of reading first. I love Google!
I Googled circle site:dioramarama.com in Google Images and got all the tutorial pictures. Click on a pic and it takes you to the website. |
Both good tips. I learn something new here everyday:)
