Got Lucky Today
 
Stopped at the Goodwill store and found three large spools of thread (1500 yards)...white, light blue and gray. No more thread shopping me for a while.

hope you tested it before buying. I found out (the hard way) there is such a thing as basting thread. Looks normal, breaks real easy.
